The same is here in Tartu, which has always been full of crows and jackdaws. When they start making noise, I often wonder, why here, why in this manner. Sometimes it seems to be connected with changing weather, but usually there doesn`t seem to be any reason. And sometimes they gather and wait on treetops in parks or fly – thousands of them – totally silently. Lots of people don`t like them. City council in Tartu decided to get rid of too many jackdaws and start mass poisoning or something. Now that`s sad, I love jackdaws, they`re more part of Tartu than town hall square or Jaani church for me. But good to hear those guys are well and respected there in Dresden.
