In early April 2016 I had the good fortune to visit to Iceland at the invitation of SkÃ¡lar | Sound Art | Experimental Music. The visit was intended to be a quick orientation and research trip to eastern Iceland and yet it turned out to be much more.
"trace effects, crystalline particles" is the first piece in a series of works made from a single camera shot and a single audio (field) recording. No generative or digital effects were used in the recording or editing process.
